Welcome To A once In a Lifetime Experience!
We are proud to announce that La Rochelle Wine Tours was established in the year 2000 and our focus since then has been bespoke wine and gourmet tours.
We are based in Franschhoek which is located in the Cape Winelands. It is a little gem surrounded by mountains with amazing scenery and only about a 1h15 minute drive from the Cape Town International Airport and a 1h20 minute drive from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town.
We are a small dedicated team and our aim is that you return home after having an unforgettable wine experience. Our guides are trained by the Cape Wine Academy/WEST and our drivers for our non-guided driver service is also well versed with the area.
We do not follow set itineraries for our guided tours as the guide chooses the wineries that will best compliment your palate/preferences. We prefer to visit some of the more boutique-style wineries whilst introducing you to a variety of wines.
Guests get collected from their accommodation in the Franschhoek/Stellenbosch/Paarl area. Collections from Cape Town are possible if tours are booked on a private basis.
If you are not staying in the Franschhoek/Stellenbosch/Paarl and don’t want to book a private wine tour, request a quote for a return transfer and get collected from your accommodation in Cape Town at an additional fee.
It looks a bit expensive, but every ZAR is worth it.
We had a private MYSTERY tour with an excellent guide. She learned us a lot about the ZA wines, we tasted wonderful wines, the mystery did the rest.
